Using Multiple Post Processing Profiles and Reflection Probes
Objective: Talk about why using multiple Post Processing Profiles and Reflection Probes are good to have.
Using multiple Post Processing Profiles can help add certain feelings into the game or scene. In a scene we can have one area be cold and move to a hot area. We can do this by creating two different Post Processing Profiles. As we have done previously in this article, , but instead of clicking Global we will do two Box Volumes.
We can size them up to have a better area of effect.
Both Box volumes have different settings.
Now in the scene we can just move left and right and it’ll be like two different areas.
If done correctly, it could add more depth to your scene.
The same can be done with reflective probes but they help more if you have one scene with two rooms. You wouldn’t want your back room be reflecting stuff from the first room. All that needs to be done is to create two reflective probes and set them in the right area’s. Something similar to what is seen below.
