Overview of Input Asset

Objective: Cover how to create Input Assets

To get started with the new Input System, we will need to create an Input Asset. This asset will hold all of the Action Maps and Actions. After installing the Input asset, we will go to project window right click → Create → Input Action

It will Create a Input Action, double click it and it will open a new window.

In the left panel is where all the Action Maps will be held. Action Maps could be for Mouse and Keyboard and another could be for controllers.

The Middle is for each Action that falls within an Action Map. The right panel will be the area to bind the inputs. Tomorrow we will dive more into the Action Maps. Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
