Objective: Show how to add Post Processing on a Virtual Camera.

There are more extensions that can be added to a Cinemachine Virtual Camera. Today we will cover Post Processing Profiles. To add it, on the camera, next to Add Extensions Click the drop and and select CinemachinePostProcessing.

To continue, we will have to make sure that Post Processing package is installed. Go to Window → Package Manager.

Fine Post Processing and install it.

We will need to move to the Main Camera and add a Post Processing Layer on it.

It needs a Layer to look for, to do this go to the top of the inspector and select Layer, Add Layer.

The Inspector will change, in User Layer 10, name it Post Processing.

Back in the Camera, in the Post Processing Layer, select the Post Processing Layer option.

In the Virtual camera, you will see a Post Processing Profile section.

Create a new Profile by hitting New. We can see a Profile is in the slot and we now have Overrides.

Here, you can decide what to add to make your scene look beautiful. I’m only going to cover one Effect. Click Add Effect → Unity → Color Grading. I adjusted the temperature to be in the negative and Post-exposure to -.46.

Now our scene has a dark cold look to it.

You can have multiple camera’s with different Post Processing effects on them to give each camera a different look.

Thank you for reading and have a wonderful day!
